Domaine Moreau-Naudet Chablis 2015

May 02, 2018 by Tim Killeen

A nice, fairly simple Chablis. A youthful, medium intensity nose of green apple, grapefruit, melon, flight, and wet rocks. Structurally, the wine is dry with medium plus acidity, medium minus body, medium alcohol, medium flavor intensity. On the palate, the wine shows green apple, lemon zest, lime, flint, and a touch of oak, most likely used. No malolactic fermentation detected. It has a pleasant bitterness but not a particularly long finish. It's good quality and is drinking well now. It's not a wine I would cellar.
